A 13-year-old boy has died after being stabbed during a fight involving several teens in northwest Harris County Monday night, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said they responded around 8:30 p.m. Nov. 3 to the 3200 block of Bolton Gardens Drive after receiving reports of a stabbing.
When deputies arrived, they found a 13-year-old boy suffering from stab wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
According to investigators, the stabbing happened during a fight involving a group of teens who knew each other. Authorities said the incident occurred in front of the suspect’s home.
Deputies said a 17-year-old suspect chased several other teens around the block before stabbing the 13-year-old boy.
The 17-year-old was detained by deputies. Investigators also recovered a weapon.
Authorities said between three and six teens may have been involved in the incident.
