(KRON) -- An Oakland man suspected of secretly recording minors and women using cameras concealed on his shoes was arrested by police in Berkeley last week. Authorities are now seeking additional victims who may have been recorded.

On Oct. 26, a teenage girl reported to the Berkeley Police Department that while she was waiting in line at Lox Stock and Bagel on Allston Way, a man may have been recording videos up her skirt.

“The victim discovered the concealed camera after inadvertently stepping on the man's foot and noticing a camera pointed toward her,” police wrote.

Detectives identified the suspect as 35-year-old Noah Stein after collecting evidence and using an automated license plate reader camera to place him in the area at the time of the incident, according to BPD.

On the night of Oct. 29, a person in the area of Durant Avenue and Bowditch Street flagged down a patrol officer and “reported seeing a man with a camera attached to his shoe, apparently recording up women's skirts,” police said. Authorities called it a “significant break” in the investigation.

Stein was found in the 2500 block of Durant Avenue and detained by officers.

“During a search of the surrounding area, officers also recovered a mini camera that had been discarded in a nearby trash can. As the investigation continued, detectives obtained a search warrant for the suspect's residence in Oakland and seized several electronic devices,” BPD wrote.

In the continuing investigation, Berkeley police learned Stein allegedly concealed a stationary camera inside the Taco Bell Cantina at 2528 Durant Avenue at approximately 11 p.m. on Oct. 29.

Stein was arrested on suspicion of annoying or molesting a minor, invasion of privacy using a concealed video recording device and destruction of evidence.

Detectives also believe Stein had been visiting UC Berkeley's South Campus area over several weeks and may have secretly recorded additional victims.

“We are urging anyone who was inside the Taco Bell Cantina after 11 pm that night, believes they may have been secretly recorded, or has information about this suspect to contact the Berkeley Police Department's Sex Crimes Unit at 510-981-5735,” authorities wrote.
